The BC government is inviting British Columbians to provide input into improving the Forest and Range Practices Act (FRPA). This is an important chance to affect long-term forestry practices. The deadline is Monday July 15 at 4pm.

Thank you to the kids and parent helpers and dog who came to our first ever Kids Meeting! We talked about what's going on, our concerns, and came up with great ideas for what we can do. These kids have some great things to contribute to our community! Water shapes our future... these kids get it!
Our Trail Sign Project is a go! We received a grant through the Columbia Basin Trust Community Initiatives Program and have partnered with the Salmo Valley Trail Society to enhance recreation and education in the Quartz Creek Watershed.
The peer review of BCTS’s hydrology report has been completed. Included recommendations were given to BCTS and BCTS has refused the majority of the recommendations.
A large crowd gathered to hear Sonia Furstenau’s account of saving Shawnigan Lake water. Sonia offered first-hand advice and inspiration. Read more about the visit here.
