Our Trail Sign Project is a go!

We received a grant through the Columbia Basin Trust Community Initiatives Program and have partnered with the Salmo Valley Trail Society to enhance recreation and education in the Quartz Creek Watershed.

Signs will identify recreational trails and areas of cultural and ecological significance, as well as provide information on how the watershed works to provide Ymir with water. We'll be connecting with local trail builders, knowledge-keepers, and craftspeople to create the signs.

Watch for updates in June as we begin our community consultation.
